Woodward 5466-1035 Digital Control Unit
MicroNet™ Plus CPU Modules
Product Information
The MicroNet CPU5200 was first introduced in 2005 for the MicroNet Plus and has continued as the standard offering for this product line for the past 15 years. The CPU P1020 was released in 2016 as a high-performance option for the MicroNet Plus. As of December 31, 2020, the P1020 will become the standard CPU for the MicroNet Plus.
The CPU5200 will remain the standard CPU for the MicroNet TMR., however we are asking that all new MicroNet Plus installations after December 31, 2020 use the P1020. There are thousands of MicroNet Plus systems currently in use running CPU5200’s and Woodward will continue to
support these systems.
MicroNet Plus CPU P1020

The P1020 has several key advantages over the 5200:
- All versions are standard with cybersecurity includingsecurepasswords, Achilles ACC certification and optional SSH encrypted communications.
- Eight times theRAMmemory and six times the Flash memory.
- Two cores each with four times thehorsepower of the 5200processor.
- One core dedicated toReal-Timetasks, the other to Free-Run tasks including communications.
- Five CANopennetworkports (instead of two) on each CPU, configurable to drive many CAN- based devices including Woodward valves, Servo Position Controllers and RTCnet or

LinkNet HT distributed I/O.
- SixEthernetports including two Gigabit ports for connection to the DCS, HMIs and workstations.
5466-1511 CPU P1020 System Requirements:
- Because of theCPUP1020’s cybersecurity features, Expansion Chassis should be used with the 5466-1146 Cybersecure RTN module.
- Many systems willnot requirean RTN Gateway due to the CPU P1020’s five included CAN ports, however if a Gateway is needed the 8200-1253 Cyber Gateway should be used.
- The 5466-1511 CPU shouldbeused with Coder MicroNet 1.02 and above.
